I missed the first ever Love Our Lurkers Day last year because I wasn't reading the right blogs. This year I am ever so much wiser, I have not only read the right blogs, I am now writing one.
So please accept my kind invitation to come out of the woodwork and let me know you're hanging around. I have a couple of reasons why I think it's a good idea.
The first is that I have no idea who or how many people actually read what I write. Every time I try to put in a counter, something goes wrong. But even if I did have one, it wouldn't tell me anything about who you are and what your interests are. I'd really like to get to know you. [Cue music: Getting to Know You]
The second reason is that de-lurking myself eventually led to my making so many comments that I realized that I really did have something to say. So thus was born this blog. Which leads back to the first reason, I really do want to get to know some more of the interesting people who inhabit blogland.
So to all my faithful lurkers, I love you and look forward to hearing from you soon. Late entries will always be welcomed.

As I am a 25 year old college student majoring in history, I try not to have a late anything. This is my first time on this blog. I must say Kudos! Very very good!
